Church Wide Fellowships in September
As we wind up the summer, we can look forward to the “newness” of things that happen in September. Join us for a breakfast meal together on the 7th as we get ready for a new set of Sunday School classes and ministry opportunities. The cost is $4 per person, $12 per family.
Also, please join us for a special dinner after church on the 21st as we celebrate some very special wedding anniversaries. We will highlight the anniversaries of those couples who have been married for 50 years or more, but we will also honor marriages of all lengths. The cost is $5 per person, $15 per family. Both events have limited seating and require the purchase of tickets at the guest services counter in the foyer on Sunday. If you don’t have money on hand, you can reserve tickets and pay for them on another Sunday.

Back to School BBQ Bash
If you are in grades 6-12th you are not going to want to miss this awesome event. The youth are having a party at the church (7-11 p.m.) celebrating the beginning of a new school year. This night will be full of fun, food, surprises, games, and prizes. This event is designed for youth to bring their friends.
Event occurs on 08/22/2008 from 07:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

KIDZ CAMP 2008
The Crazy Cheeseburger Challenge: Learn Faith, Love Life!
Come to camp at First Alliance Church in August and explore the basic truths of our faith. We will use games, crafts, illustrations, skits and stories to gain a fresh sense of our amazing God.
All children who have finished Kindergarten to 5th grade are welcome. Children may come at 10:30 for free play or when our program starts at 11:00. Camp begins August 3rd and runs 5 weeks:
8/3, 8/10, 8/17, 8/24, 8/31
KIDZ CAMP is for both our FAC children and other children in our community. Take home the invites available at the welcome desk on Sunday so children you know are ready to start KIDZ CAMP August 3rd!

Sermon Series – August 3 – 31
Starting Sunday, August 3, we will begin a new teaching series in the sanctuary called, “Christianity 101.” For existing believers, it will be a review of the basics and an opportunity to learn how to share the gospel; but it will also be an opportunity to invite a seeking friend. Let us take advantage of this summer opportunity to reach out to someone nearby and bring him or her to hear the Good News!
